Welcome to our corner of Lapland

Who we are, why we chose Olleronvaara for this, and what we do to make the stay worth the journey.

Lapland is home for us, and Olleronvaara is our corner of it. We look after these villas and the people who come to stay in them, and what we are really after is simple: that the time you spend here turns out to be the part of the trip you keep telling people about.

Why here

Olleronvaara sits right at the Arctic Circle, far enough from town that the city lights barely reach and the sky goes properly dark. The last stretch is a kilometre and a half of forest road. It takes fifteen minutes to reach the airport and fifteen to reach dinner in town, which is a combination that is harder to find than it sounds.

How we work

Every villa is built to the same standard, so there is no better or worse room to worry about. Each has its own sauna. Booking direct with us costs the same as booking through a platform and means you are talking to us rather than to a call centre.

Activities are arranged with Book Lapland, our main partner in Rovaniemi. One message to us and your days are planned before you land.

What we care about

Keeping the forest as forest. Having the villa warm, quiet and ready before you open the door, because arriving in the dark after a long journey is the moment that sets the tone for the whole stay. And answering honestly when something is not right, which happens, because everything does eventually.

The neighbourhood

Olleronvaara is not an empty hillside. SkyView Igloo Resort stands close by, and with it Restaurant Aura and Arctic Spa CULTA — a proper dinner and a spa evening within reach of the villa, without driving into town for either.

Activities run from the area through the winter, and Rovaniemi itself is fifteen minutes away when you want a shop, a museum or a train. Close enough to be easy, far enough that the sky stays dark.
