These terms apply to every reservation at Northern Lights Villas. Cancellation conditions depend on the season you are travelling in, so please read the section that covers your dates before you book. Placing a booking confirms that you accept them.
Reservations for this period are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, modification or no-show, the full value of the reservation is charged. The booking becomes binding on payment and cannot be moved to different dates.
The villas run through the winter season, so most of this window falls outside the period we are open. It is set out here for completeness and for any dates we do take at the edges of the season.
Plans change and life gets in the way, but we are not able to refund payments outside the conditions above — including for illness, disrupted transport or other unexpected events. We strongly recommend taking travel insurance that covers cancellation and changes to travel plans.
If a reservation cannot be honoured because of force majeure — government restrictions, natural disaster, a pandemic or similar — we may offer to move the booking to a later date. Refunds are not issued in these circumstances.
For bookings of five or more villas, separate group terms apply and additional charges may be involved. Please contact us before booking so we can set the arrangement out in writing.
By placing a booking you confirm that you accept these terms. Because accommodation is reserved for specific dates, the booking is not covered by the right of withdrawal under Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
If you booked through Booking.com, Airbnb or another platform rather than with us directly, the cancellation terms shown on that platform at the time of booking apply to your reservation instead of the sections above.
If anything here is unclear, or your circumstances do not fit neatly into it, write to us at reception@skyviewigloos.fi before you book rather than after. We would far rather answer a question than turn down a refund.
